Our arrangements

Three ways to stay beside an older relative

Each arrangement is practical, clearly described, and shaped around your family's actual situation — not a template.

How we work

Our coordination approach

Every Wargakita arrangement begins with a conversation — not a form. We take time to understand the older person, the family's situation, and what kind of support would actually be useful. From there, we match carefully, introduce properly, and keep the family informed throughout.

Our three arrangements can be used separately or alongside one another. Many families start with a check-in package and add companionship visits once they see how it works. Others come to us specifically for the family guidance workshops. There is no fixed pathway — just what works for your family.

Arrangement 01

Regular Check-in & Family Updates

Scheduled phone or in-person check-ins, with brief written summaries shared with the family for peace of mind. Suited to relatives who live apart and want dependable, honest information about a loved one's day-to-day comfort.

  • Daily, several-times-weekly, or weekly rhythm — your choice
  • Contact log maintained throughout
  • Short written updates shared after every check-in
  • Single point of coordination for the family

How it begins

1

Initial conversation with the family to agree on check-in frequency and format

2

Coordination team makes first contact with your relative to introduce the service

3

Regular check-ins begin and written updates are sent to the nominated family contact

Arrangement 02

Companionship Visit Coordination

Arranging regular, friendly visits for conversation, shared reading, hobbies, and gentle walks. Suited to families who want a familiar, reassuring presence for an older relative during the week — without having to organise it themselves each time.

  • Weekday or weekend visits arranged to a household-friendly routine
  • Companion matched to your relative's preferences
  • Simple visit schedule kept and shared with family
  • Short written update after each visit

How it begins

1

Coordination team speaks with family to understand the older person's interests and daily rhythm

2

Companion is matched and an introduction meeting arranged before visits begin

3

Regular visits run to the agreed schedule, with written updates going to the family contact

Arrangement 03

Caregiver Guidance Workshops

Friendly, plain-language sessions for family members covering daily routines, comfortable home setups, and ways to communicate warmly with an older relative. For adult children who want practical knowledge and reassurance as they take on more day-to-day responsibility.

  • Small-group or one-to-one format — family's preference
  • Printed guides included in the package
  • Session recording provided for future reference
  • Follow-up question allowance after sessions conclude

How it begins

1

Brief intake call to understand the family member's role and what topics matter most

2

Session series is scheduled — typically two to four sessions over a short period

3

Printed materials and recording are provided; follow-up questions accepted for a defined period
